Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) for Deep Foundation

Feature:

  • Hollow-Stem Design – Allows concrete or grout to be pumped through the center during auger extraction.
  • Continuous Flight – Efficiently conveys excavated material during drilling.
  • Replaceable Cutting Teeth – Tooth configurations can be selected for different ground conditions.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction – Designed to withstand the torque, axial loads, and wear associated with CFA piling.
  • Custom Configuration – Available in different diameters, lengths, flight designs, connections, and cutting structure

DESCRIPTION

A Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) is a hollow-stem drilling tool designed for CFA pile construction. It combines continuous drilling, spoil removal, and concrete placement into one piling process. During drilling, the continuous flights transport excavated material to the surface. At the required depth, concrete or grout is pumped through the hollow stem as the auger is gradually withdrawn to form the pile.

Applications

CFA augers are widely used for building foundations, infrastructure, bridge foundations, and other piling projects, particularly in soft to medium ground and selected mixed or weathered formations.
